As long as you are not drinking cologne or aftershave etc to get drunk it is not haram.

Salam for you In line with the qur’an,alcoholic drink or khamar is haram because it will make someone to be drunk.A drunking person will be unconsious and if the mandatory pray is coming he/she does not know the time and he/she could not remember the surah which should be recited in the praying. Besides that alcoholic drinks will give bad effect to our health.So it is prohibited by Allah.
Alcohol in the perfume can be used because it is not drunk and its quantity is very small,but if there is another alternative perfume without alcohol you can use it.

Well i agree in general….but many perfumes / colognes still contain ethanol.

Denatured, so yes there is methanol and other such compounds which make it toxic and undrinkable…therefore not intoxicating.

I just picked up my bottle of cologne and the first ingredient was ethanol…..but then there was methanol and ethyl gylcol. …so yeah..i can’t get drunk off of it…i’d die before that happened.
